Before founding Onion Creek Productions in 2010, award-winning director Aaron Brown spent eight years in New York City as a cameraman and field producer for National Geographic, Discovery, VH1, A&E, and MTV. With a desire to launch a creatively-driven production company, Aaron moved back to his hometown of Austin to start a new journey. Over the past 10 years, Onion Creek has become a fixture in the Austin film scene. While creatively pushing technology and technique, Onion Creek remains married to the craft, language, and artistry of production – earning eight Addy Awards in the past two years. Onion Creek’s clients include HBO, YETI Coolers, VICE, Nissan, Gatorade, and Netflix.
