Genealogy Short Documentary Blood Seeks Blood Featuring Black Panther Joan Tarika Lewis Lewis, an accomplished historian, was asked a simple question by a family member, “You talk so much about history, but do you even know who you are?” The question prompted her to dive into her own genealogy and has inspired other African Americans to do the same. Over the past year, Lewis has hosted genealogy workshops and guided members of her community to take a journey through their genetic history.
