VA Sam was born in Japan and raised in Virginia, his path wasn’t traditional — but it was intentional. After earning a Division I athletic scholarship to Troy University, he made a calculated decision to step away from the field and lock in on what mattered most: music. With over a decade in the industry, Sam has worked alongside everyone from independent artists building from scratch to mainstream names with real chart presence. He’s also collaborated with major brands, always bringing the same energy: clean execution, zero ego, and an obsession with quality.
