Ryan Salaman

I am currently a Senior at The University of Texas at Austin, proudly pursuing my passion for Radio-Television-Film at the Moody College of Communication. Film has always been an integral part of my life, and I am excited to be studying and preparing for a career in this dynamic industry.

In addition to my major, I am minoring in business administration, as I believe a strong foundation in business will be essential for my future success.

Last Summer I continued my work with Porch House from the summer prior and started work at Dine Brands, under their Applebee’s division, as a marketing and advertising consultant/intern.

Two summers ago, I participated in the University of Texas’ Center for Entertainment and Media’s “Semester in Los Angeles” program, where I had the opportunity to work with two production companies, Porch House and Morningstar Entertainment, and served as a production assistant on several sets.

In the previous two summers before UTLA, I gained valuable experience at PepsiCo, working in their in-house creative agency, Anderson Hill Studios. These roles helped me develop my skills in a corporate environment and solidified my passion for the industry.

I continue to freelance as a videographer and photographer, collaborating with both small businesses and individuals. Each of these experiences has deepened my enthusiasm for film and reinforced my determination to succeed in this field.
