About
Zach was born and lived in California until he was six years old. His family moved to Arizona in 2004, where he found his love of telling stories on camera as early as the third grade and all through high school. These class video projects encouraged him to pursue filmmaking as a career. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film and Television Production from the University of Arizona in 2020. Growing up in a suburban setting inspired him to create works that challenge the sanitized and structured world around him. His love for horror and the surreal came from filmmakers such as Guillermo Del Toro and Tim Burton. His Senior Thesis film IRIS (2020) played in a multitude of Sci-Fi Short Film Festivals, from Brooklyn to LA and Bristol, England. He is currently living in Los Angeles working as a freelance Video Editor and following his passion by writing feature films.
