In recognition of our values, Allied Video Productions has received numerous awards for our business practices, partnerships and philanthropy. We are an “Earthwise Certified” business and have received the “Sustainable Small Business of the Year Award” from Marion County. AVP was awarded a “Crystal Apple Business Partner Award” from the Salem Keizer Education Foundation as well as the “Absolutely In Focus” award from Travel Salem. We’ve also received special awards from the City of Woodburn, the Portland Gay Men’s Chorus, and Friends of the Oregon Savings Growth Plan. We’ve twice been awarded the “Business of the Year” by the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce. Finally, we are proud to say the over 90% of our yearly power is generated by the solar array atop our building! Allied Video Productions was founded by Tom Marks in 1983 with one camera and a 3/4″ editing system. Over the years, AVP grew steadily and gained a reputation for solid work. In 2002, three long-time employees (Scott Hossner, Jeff Hart and Dan Walker) purchased the company and began to expand its capabilities and offerings, pushing AVP into the digital age and growing its event business. In 2010, AVP bought their own 12,000 square foot building and remodeled it into a state-of-the art production facility. In recent years, Jeff retired and BrAd Steiner joined the ownership team. Today, AVP has about a dozen team members and our clients stretch across the country.
