Award Home Inspections is the leading commercial and residential property inspection company in the Richmond-metro area. When Joe Gershowitz founded the company over a decade ago, he wanted something different. He envisioned combining the latest technology with a team of building inspectors who were trained in the construction trades. They would have the knowledge and background to understand a property and make sound recommendations. That was over 8,000 inspections ago.
Joe was born and raised in Hanover and has a home in Mechanicsville. He is an electrician and spent 15 years in the electrical and construction industry. When conducting a home inspection, he speaks from experience.
Award Home Inspections is also one of the few home inspection companies in the region with a certified radon inspector. The company uses state-of-the-art technology to identify radon levels inside a home or business and works with the property on remediation.
