I’m Jacob Reinmann, founder of Bluegrass Visuals, based in Lexington, Kentucky. My interest in cameras started long before this became a business. I grew up just outside of Chicago and spent a lot of time around cars, which is where photography first clicked for me. I’d bring a camera along to local car meets and events and started capturing the builds and the atmosphere around them. What began as a simple hobby eventually turned into a real passion for creating images that capture a moment and tell a story.
In 2021, I moved to Lexington and quickly fell in love with Central Kentucky. The landscape, the people, and the industries here create a unique environment full of great stories and hardworking businesses. I spent a lot of time figuring out what I wanted to do, and that uncertainty pushed me to take my creativity more seriously and eventually start Bluegrass Visuals, with the goal of helping businesses and people showcase their work through high-quality photo and video.
Today, Bluegrass Visuals focuses on creating high-quality media that helps businesses and individuals showcase their work and tell their story. From documenting large construction projects and residential real estate to producing automotive and brand content, the goal is always the same: creating visuals that are authentic, professional, and drive engagement.
