Smith Field Airport, on the north side of Fort Wayne is the area’s premier GA airport & offers easy access to downtown businesses. Hangar rental, aircraft rental, flight instruction and full FBO services are available there.
Building on its rich history and culture, Smith Field Airport has taken off with a new vision. Smith Field Airport is situated on 236 acres of land approximately 5 miles north of downtown Fort Wayne and serves Northeast Indiana’s general aviation community. Managed by the Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority, Smith Field is striving to grow general aviation in the region by introducing additional aeronautical education opportunities and pursuing innovative development.
